We require those who register to be at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Our website address is: https://tanglewoodestates.org. This policy was last updated July 25, 2019.
Registration
In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide your street, but it is not required. If provided, your address will be used ONLY to display your residence on a Google map on your public profile page. We will never use your address to send you mail or otherwise contact you at home.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Links
This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to review the privacy policy of any other site you visit.
Email
If you email us (whether or not you have registered on our site), we obviously will have your email address. We use your email only to respond to your emails to us or to provide feedback and information to you as a registered user. We will not send you ‘spam’ emails and you may opt out of receiving emails from us by deleting your account from our site.
Additionally, we maintain a group email list for our community. We may occasionally send emails to the group, which may expose your email address to other mail list members. You may unsubscribe from this list by opening your Profile page, checking the appropriate button at the bottom, entering your email address (twice), and clicking Send. Note that this email list is built so that only other members may send email to this address. Although, technically, non-registered guests (such as a community liaison with a public safety agency) may send email to this address, all non-registered guest emails will be reviewed for approval before being delivered to the group, to further protect you from unwanted email spam.
